Kaivan Patel, MBBS, MS


Dr. Kaivan Patel is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in medicine and biomedical engineering.
In addition to his clinical roles, Kaivan is actively involved in medical education initiatives.

Passionate about research and education, Kaivan founded Project Helix to raise awareness and dispel false beliefs regarding research in medical students.

Kaivan’s research experience includes serving as the Principal Research Coordinator for OAFJ-001 at Advanced Research LLC, investigating the therapeutic benefits of autologous adipose-derived regenerative cells in patients with facet joint osteoarthritis. Currently, as a lab research fellow at the Biomaterials Lab, Florida Atlantic University, he leads research on bioceramic scaffolds for bone tissue regeneration, polymer composites for drug delivery, and cell biomaterial interaction.

Kaivan is a published author, contributing to articles on Coffin-Siris Syndrome, Raynaud’s Phenomenon, Hyperuricemia, and more. His professional passion lies in pursuing cardiology, with a specific focus on heart failure and related diseases
